Retro Auto Museum, Moscow
A couple of months ago I visited the Retro Auto Museum in Moscow. Entry was about US$ 2. Huge collection of around 180 cars varying from private as well as government collections housed under 1 climate controlled hall.
The cars varied from American staples such as Ford (who had an assembly plant in Russia back in the day) to beautiful Russian Lada's and Gaz cars. Admittedly most were 'inspired' by American models but they were much more beautiful than the box shaped Lada of the 70s that most people have etched in their memory.
Most of the cars have been restored and are maintained in-house at the Museum garage. A must visit for anyone traveling to Moscow
