A visit to The Museum of Automobiles
@MODS : Please move to appropriate section, if necessary. Thanks
Stuck by myself in Memphis with a 4 day long weekend, I did not know what to do. Did a bit of browsing and found that there was a place called Superlift Off Road Vehicle Park in Hotsprings, Arkansas - about 200 miles from Memphis. Decided to go there for a couple of days.
A colleague here, knowing that I am a car buff ( I am no buff. Just another regular Team-BHPian ) also pointed me to a place called Petit Jean State Park, about another 60 miles from Hot Springs.
I will be posting a separate thread on the OTR experience. On Saturday after spending the morning in Hot Springs, I took off and got to The Museum of Automobiles .
Truly, I was spell bound. I missed not having my DSLR. All I had was a Canon A480, point and shoot. I know that pictures do not do much justice to this exquisite collection. Hope you guys enjoy them

This is one good thing I've seen about the Americans. They have a habit of restoring and maintaining even the most mundane automobiles from yesteryear by forming a museum. Of these cars, hardly any could be said to be of historical significance. Some are even for sale. Yet its the enterprise of the dedicated team that maintains all these cars, that deserves a hats off!
And Rajan, wonderful photos dude.

Know what - I was reading these Raymond Chandler books and realized that during his era, these were the reigning automobiles. Esp - the Fleetwoods & Packards. Thanks !
