Any one came across a Lap top charger that draw power from the in-car Cigar lighter?

Once I inquired about a DC12v to AC230V inverter at an accessory shop at Hyderabad, and they quoted Rs800 for the same.

I think the product is something similar to the one shown in the link: Axiom Energy

Update you guys once I get chance to experience the performance!

Interesting requirement. I would strongly suggest that you go for a direct DC to DC converter instead of a DC to AC to DC. Most laptops require a 12V i/p so, it must be a matter of just wires and plugs.

Thanks VBV,
I thought to have a single source of power for the laptop (Toshiba Satellite 105 series) now and the mobile phone chargers, coffee maker etc-etc- later (One at a time) I do agree that I can get the car chargers for any mobile handset from market but thought to get a universal power source instead of multiple gadgets to serve the purpose.

Can someone please explain what exactly "body treatment" is. When should it be done - when the car is brand new or when the paint gets scratched?

Thanks in advance.

Though should clarify that this is not for bird potty because both spots are covered parkings but rather to avoid people/employees scratching the cars delibrately.
In apartments where kids play at the cellar, the only option is to cover the car! I fear the people who find fun in scratching the body than the bird droppings. The later can be cleaned as soon as you spot it (at least). But I remember to get my car cover washed bi-monthly to avoid the residual dust make micro scratches on the body. I don't mind much of few big and visible scratches on my SUV (You cant escape from that in Hyderabad city drive) than the micro scratches that shows ones carelessness. After all an SUV without a single scratch is not an SUV!
