I think GUN means that the ID sub is lot more linear. You see when a woofer movees in and out of the magnetic gap part of it's voice coil leaves the gap an this often makes the woofer non linear. JK, KB,

Start with a budget. If you are intending to double and triple your budget you will only confuse yourself.

Next determine the number of hours you are going to be alone in the car. I find that when I am not alone (with wife and son) we usually have music in the background and converse (if we have music on at all) and when I am chauffered I have my Sennheiser cans connected to my ipod (I am thinking of getting a Bithead to help this cause further esp since it will sit in my cars' arm rest).

Thanks Navin !.. SAGE advice ... as ususal!. I am scheduled to be in Bangalore for a conference next week - am goign two whole days in advance ONLY to get a DEMO (if possible) of the various combinations and pick the one I like. Hopefully will get to listen to McLaren's and Rudra's setups too!

Lets hope sanity prevails until then!
