I wouldn't reccomend them for someone serious about their audio. They're cross axials and fire straight towards the front of the car. I wouldnt exactly call them accurate or something but they are quite loud, and can handle decent power thanks to a 8" mid-bass driver.

one time i used see this speaker virtually in every car man i hate this speaker very much. It has very high treble sound because of two tweeter buit in it. And the so call midbass is very light as compared to its 50w nominal rating

LBM It used to have 1 tweeter and 1 midrange not two tweeters.

Yes its a good deal ... and the speakers are good. This is infact pioneers old series as i remember seeing them since my school days but they do the job. Panky look for "Made in japan" inscription and buy it if u dont dont need a comp system.

The speakers were good, you probably schooled quite a long time back, even cds weren't around at those times, even cassettes were good then and this is becoming an extremely long sentence and a waste of good text on a perfectly ordinary speaker for the time.

Oh come on B&T i'm not saying its gr8 and mindblowing he asked if @ 5.5k it was good the current rates are around 6-6.5K here. And though very old model it still fires up. Many ppl like it due to the "Dome/Helmet" shape i remember seeing it for the first in 97-98. Over here u would find ppl swearing by these speakers and a woofer combi lol

Anyways panky this is an old model buy it if u like it not many of us have it though

Aaah, the famous "Dome" speakers Back in the day we were floored when we first saw these. I remember a friend had to combined this with 2 6x9" in the rear of his esteem along with 2 subs. Ignorance was bliss those days.

Back then, yes I would have bought the speakers.

Today? After meeting sam/navin and others on T-BHP?? Nah, no way, jose!!

my younger brother put those in our old model 800 back in '99. He had a rear parcel tray made with a 12inch sub, unfortunately the sub couldnt fit in the center because of space constraint involving the boot lock so he went on to put the two speakers on one side and woofer on the other side. It was funny as hell! I tried explaining but he didnt listen so i gave up

heheheh Arush i saw that sort fitment in one Alto a few days back he had done this coz of the CNG Tank taking up space. Ppl still are crazy bout these speakers dunno why.

The pic that i posted before with the kicker woofer, this guy was running a Rockford punch Amp churning out and i quote 5000watts and he said the kicker was rated @ 5000watts too. he didn't have any front stage other than ts20's and i couldn't forget what he said next " 2150 aur kicker laga lo buss koi isske pass bhi nahi aasakta" lol
