The capacitor is the crossover. However, if there is a high pass filter in the HU, then why bother with the caps?

Panky... you're really funny...

It is my opinion that Bose corp manufactures some really shoddy, terrible sounding, overpriced, overrated products. Their 'smokes and mirrors' marketing is however should be a case study in MBA school since they are able to sell that crap to unsuspecting Indians who believe there is no better car than Mercedes, no better TV than Sony, no better car audio than Pioneer and of course no better home audio than Bose.

Also, are you running 2ohm mids off your HU???

How do I convince you guys when my own flesh and blood goes out an buys a Bose 1.2.3 HT/AV system! AARGH! without even asking my opinion!

Bose does have fantastic marketing though and offers products to the technophobe.

The only sound you probably hear after buying a Bose is you wailing and moaning.
