Default how good are yamato speakers ?

hi guys,
have any of you used yamato audio speakers ? its a chennai based company and the specs seem pretty alright for the price. i'm lookin at the YP1016XG (Rs 1350) for front & YP1318GB (Rs 1650) for rear.
anyone has any experience with these ? also any recommendations of any other brand. basically i want to upgrade the factory speakers on my indigo sx on a budget and without any modifications. these seem like direct replacements ( according to dimensions).

ya, i agree with sam, jkdas. I feel there are many local brand that are popping up in the indian market, and trying to take to advantage of the boom in the car audio industry.

Also keep away from these brands if you encounter them as i think they too are some local brands:
DHOOM
DAPCHI

I know this is a very old thread but whoever reads it I thought should know that Yamato speakers comes as factory fitted speakers in Hyundai cars.

The i20 sounds pretty decent for stock ICE. If it's Yamato, then it's perfect for people who have a budget of 2-3 k for ICE 'upgrades' ;-0

@frankmehta, the last time I checked, the i20 speakers are yamato. What I've heard is it is actually much more superior than the ones in Santro or the other cars.
