Photograph and spec are here. goandude, now please try. Sorry for the goof up. I was trying to post from my ViewSonic tablet. You can even see the dimensions in the website. Now, it should work.

Just ordered Belkin's 200w car inverter on letsbuy.com. Hopefully it comes out ok. On the website it shows 1 year warranty but I think from a retail shop one gets 3 year warranty.

In case anyone wants to buy the Belkin AC Anywhere 200W, then a good deal is going on:

Belkin F5L071ak200W Car Charger

For next 48 hours, you will get additional 20% discount, thus the product will cost Rs.1200, as against Rs.1500-1600 regularly.

I am not at all related to shopclues, just sharing a good deal.

Looks like a good product. However, watch out that the accessory socket is fused for >20A since the internal fuse is 20A.

The total power consumption is the running power plus charging power. In case you have a 100WH battery and it charges in 4 hours, you will need at least 25W to charge the battery.

Check the power consumption of your adapter. It is written on the lable. In case the adapter is 150W or more your inverter may show overload.

this weekend i was out for Kaas, near Pune. after i started my journey i realized that my camera battery is not charged.
after that i decided to have this inverter and yesterday i inquired on ebay about this same inverter.
i would appreciate your brief review / feedback before i go and buy it.
my main use will be camera battery charging and some odd occasion, laptop also.
i am really afraid now after your feedback of overload. will it really charge my laptop?

I have this Belkin inverter for more than 2 years and it charges my Toshiba LT without any hassles even when someone is using it. At times I have used a small coffee maker to make coffee while driving long distances. The coffee maker consumes 150 W.

This means that the unit i have i got is faulty. I checked with my other laptop too. It gives a overload beep immediately when connected to inverter in on condition.

But its charging the mobile etc perfectly.

Quick way to check is test it with a 100 W incandescent bulb first and then use another 60 W bulb also. If you can draw 160 W at the same time without any issue - it is not your Belkin which is at fault.

The Belkin unit was faulty. I went to the service centre and demanded immediate replacement. The unit has lifetime warranty.

The new unit works perfectly with my laptop.

I dint expect a faulty piece from Belkin atleast.

Could anyone help me if the following can be used for my Car Vacuum Cleaner (Black & Decker ACV 1205: 12V, 12.5W) for home purposes.

According to the description on the adaptor, I think it fits the input requirements of the vacuum cleaner.
