HH,

60K is a decent budget and you can have a good system in this price. I would like to suggest you the following :

Front : 6.5" Components
Rear : 6.5" Coaxial in the doors
Subwoofer : 12" / 15" in a sealed/ported box even 15 is a overkill no need for 18" in a Getz.
Amplifier : 5 Channel (Going for 5 channel will save you money over the two amps and also you will get better quality amp)
Cabling : 6 ch RCA, Power Kit, Speaker Cables
HU : Anyone with 6 preouts Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine.

JB, post demise of the Alpine 450 what is the most ecomonical 5 ch. amp out there? The new alpine 5 ch amps are really meant for HT and not 4 sats and a sub.

Audison srx5, Soundstream P3.540/600.5/880.5, Kicker 700.5/850, JL 500.5 are a few. another option to get a 6 ch. amp like the JL 6460 and bridge 2 ch. for the sub.

A 4 ch + mono are more available.

Good quality cables
Monster cable or VIBE RCA cords

Hertz components (Front)
Hertz Co-Axials (Rear)
Alpine F345 4channel AMP (for speakers)

Alpine type X 12" Subwoofers (Good for SPL and SQ as well)
Alpine M605 monoblock AMP

Dynamat Extreme or Wurth sound damping (Highly recommended)

It would be better to get in touch with GUNBIR as he is from Delhi too. I think you should consult him for any installs!
My dear friend, he has a budget of 60k and i dont think one can fit all what you suggest in that budget. Heck he would struggle to fit that setup even he has 80k to spend on ICE

YEAH......especially if u r loking for SQ.
And u also need ur brother's resources to have a good SQ based system.

well...i dont know much abt prices & b/w thing but here is my choice.....

1.alpine 9847 HU 11k
2.cables and install 10k audison/JBL
3.Front compo and rear coax6.5" 15k Hertz/Infinty
4.ID subw 15" in sealed box 15k ???
5.4-ch amplifier 10-15k alpine/audison/jl audio
6.A mono amp for subw >11k JBL/audison

So its around 70k and can come down with some bargaining.

I will go for two amplifiers for door speakers & subw and minimum 2 g power kit.

soundstream/kicker 5/6-ch amp will cost less than 25k [a 5-ch soundstream on onlinecarsterao was for $200] but these r not as reputed as r alpine/jl audio/audison/jbl.

5ch amps make sense over a 2 amp setup. Unless one wants a budget system or a high-watt SQL/SPL system. Firstly, a 5ch amp consumes less space in our cramped cars. Secondly, you save money on other peripherals like distribution blocks etc.

Well in a 70k setup I would ideally like the amp(s) to be worth 50% i.e. 30K. Add sub at 10k. Add speakers at 13k. Cabling etc 7k. HU for 10k.

RSJ has got mistaken on IDQ15 it is for Rs. 17250 needs 400-500W whereas IDQ12 is cheaper than that and needs 250-350W.

Difference is there, but you need much more power in case of ID than Hertz Energy. You can't beat the Hertz Energy ES-380 at its price.

I would suggest 2 X IDQ12 anyday over single 15's but not without good front stage speakers.

Hmm... Guys... the iDQ15 and the ES380 are completely different beasts. Yes, they are both 15"ers, the similarity ends there. For one, the iDQ15 is nearly twice the price of the ES380. As for performance, the iDQ is of course in another league. That doesnt mean the ES380 is a slouch by any standards. Ask anybody who's heard the VEGA lancer at the Auto Expo... Lets just say the ES380 is Teachers and the iDQ is Jack Daniels. Do you guys get that? (I know Rudra Sir will!)

Speedofreak... with the MRD-M605 use the ES300D in a ported box. It will give you the output you want, and then some. If you still feel the need for more, you can always add another ES300D. The neighbour will no longer be an issue . A 15"er in your car will really sound imbalanced due to the fact that your front coaxials cant really keep up. Right now you dont feel the midbass lacking cuz your ES300D kicks really well in the upper-bass region.

HH... get an iD12v3 or iDQ12, sealed with around 300-400w... or, If you really want bag for buck, go for the ES380 15"er.
