Bass tube: Sub with ported cylindrical enclosure, offers boom. Sold as one complete, finished product.

Sub + Box: Individually sold, give options to have sub mounted either in sealed/ported/bandpass and what not enclosures to suit individual tastes.

maddy, its personal choice altogether.... I love to hear 50 cents in bass tube set up. Why? Simple: Main qutub minar pe ghar banwaun, meri marzi..

But am sure there are couple of others here who would love to hear the same in "sub in sealed box" set up. Bass Tubes would be loud, boom and show - off, whereas the sub + box could be tight/boom depending upon the enclosures.

You need to state your preferences and then use your own ears to decide, as the sound is very subjective.
