In a every component kit there is a mid-bas, in a two way kit it works for mid bass and the vocals. but in a three way it takes cares for the mid bass only.

Here is a pic of the same , the top one is the tweeter the immideiate below the tweeter is the midrange, and in the door below is the midbass.

The thing you found it artificial is that it was to much present there. Also it depends on the listening tastes also. Some like it and some not.

I am sure you are experimentd with the exact angle for that wood baffle that holds the mid and tweeter. However I would prefer it a bit less angled. The reason I have for this is as follows.

given that the left door speakers are closer to the left listener it would make sense to direct it's on axis energy towards the listener further from it (the person in the rightside seat). the off axis respnse of the drivers might be adequate for the closer listener.

However I'd like to hear Gunbir's, B&T's, and other guru take on this.

Navin Ji the angles at which the speaker were mounted were like the left speakers were pointing the right seat listener and vice-versa . And they were pointed towards the ears of the listener.

One thing I wanna add here is that this setup has been changed and new locations are being decided.

I am back and watching this thread on my notebook. No progress yet. Damn.

I was just thinking about LBM's sub upgrade and what came to my mind is represented by these pictures.

Current IDMAXs in LBM swift:

After the sub upgrade:

God save Freedabad!

No offence meant, LBM. Time pass stuff until your sub arrives.
