Before putting the Morel Coax i had done the compare between Morel Coax and JBL 6" Components. I found the Morel Coax giving a clear and more punchy sound which i wanted thtz y installed the Morel 6.25" Coax in front.

Havent heard the Hertz 6.5" Components. If thy sound different from the JBL ones thn i can put the Coax at the back doors and install the Hertz in the Front doors.

Guide...

rareone,

You did good by using your ears before, I earnestly suggest you to do the same again.

If you are looking at better compoenents for the front I'd also look at Focal, Polk (momo), Alpine Boston and Infinity or even Morel components which are all easily available in Mumbai.

Thanx Navinji for ur opinion.

Also tell me i already have a Morel 6.25" Coax in the Front Doors of my Santro. Will putting a Component instead of the Coax make any difference 2 me. Also i have a Pioneer TS Tweeter in the Front.

The Pio TS tweeter is probably doing more harm than good. I find it very tizzy.

Components if installed properly will improve your front soundstage esp if you car has tweeter pods.

Exclamation Any good 4" componets are there?

Hi Guys,
Is there any good 4" component speakers available for Santro as I dont want to fix it on door pads. Or will 5 1/4" compos for rear and 4" JBL / infinity for front sounds good?. I got totally confused with this. Coz few says front comp and rear co-axial and few says reverse. Please suggest me what is good.

Thanks guys.

Hi Sunil,

No, the correct thing is component in the front and coazial in the rear.
Unfortunately very very few companies make a 4" component set (I think kicker and sont make these but they aren't too impressive)
Soo if you are looking at a factory fit, 4" coaxial for the front seems to be your best bet.
However if you go to a good installer, he can install a 5.25 or a 6" component set by mounting an MDF ring in your door.
