If anyon likes percussion, Safri Duo are the guys to listen to...they sound fabulous on car audio, especially with comps and a sub. Back home, Sivamani's music also rocks!

I fully concur with you.I also find 'With or without you' by U2 to be equally good for testing my ICE

My addition this time:
Andy Palacio & The Garifuna Collective - Watina [2007]
An album which is a must for any serious ICE listener.

Another one worthy of mentioning here is:
Sarah Brightman's EDEN [1999].

Anyone tried out Say it Right by Nelly Furtado. Tried it out on a friend's car with a sealed box sub-woofer. Sounded brilliant. Will also help you figure out if you need damping or if anything's loose in your car

Honey Singh - Just to make sure that the vocals are clean on high volumes.

Rest I think people like LBM & Amit_Sound can elaborate better.

I personally use Eric Clapton's unplugged CD.

Bass, I love you by Bassotronics . I'd suggest to slowly pump up the volume as the woofer/s WILL be tested to their limits.

edit: You can download some test sweeps and other mids/bass heavy songs from realmofexcursion dot com.

For SQL you dont use MP3 or even lossless, you use CDs.
