PIONEER... based on your question.. unless, like LBM said, you have two models to choose between..

kb! patience! lol

Blau HU starts frm 4.5k B&W; and they have some good HU. Like I said somewhere, they need good promotion by means of advertising etc. Pio units are cheaper in grey mart, but costly when it comes with B&W.

I just got Pioneer DEH 3850 today for Rs. 7950 with Bill & Warranty. Warranty gives you piece of mind. So avoid grey.

Isn't that a bit high? I got mine here in TVM for 6500 with bill and warranty.

BTW, what are your final specs (what speakers, etc)?

Pio is you can consider grey. B&W prices are almost double from what i hear.

Blau comes with B&W and super service (anyone heard of MICO?).

Default Pio or Blau ???

I posted the same query few days ago and not got any proper answer, somehow I am more keen towards Blaupunkt than Pioneer, but I see almost everybody talks about Pioneer only. As per my search on Blaukpunkt in Bangalore, I got the following pricing
Bermuda - 7800, Dayton 8200, MAUI 8600, Monterro 9500, Monena 14250 and additional Aux cable for all these systems cost 600.

Other than Pioneer 6580, no other model below 10K have aux out.

I am still confused, which one would be better in terms pure sound clarity, Pioneer or Blaukpunkt within similar price range?? Any anwers audio gurus??
