You still havent told me which Brahma you're getting, from where, and at what price!

Brahma's are available in three voice coil configurations, are you sure you're buying the ones most appropriate for your amp?

B&T, I am not sure what these three types are?
I am getting a 2 ohm Dual coil one, which I can play at 1 ohm!
If that is not what you are looking for, tell me the 3 types and I will know.

LBM,
As far as I have read Wurth = Dynamat; and Dynamat Extreme is 4 times more effective than Dynamat and lighter.

Wurth is worth spending. I cant say the same about Extreme. It's lighter for sure. How much more effective than the Wurth?? Do you think it's 4 times better? Hmmmm... isn't it a bit too optimistic???

BTW, ST!!! I'll be in Bangalore this 14th and 15th. Any chance to see your setup??

How much does wurth cost? I don;t think there will be too much diff in price. But I am sure Dynamat Extreme is one of the best dampner available. Done lot of research on that and also seen in KB's car.

Also, since there will be lot of damping required, I do not want to add unnecessary dead weight to my car.

I am travelling across in Mysore, Pune, Muhali till 21st. Once I return to banaglore I will get the install done asap (may be in 2-3 weeks).

You are describing the dual 2 ohm version. They also have dual 4 and dual 8. How many subs?

LOL I needed only 1 12" (which I migrated from IDMAX)
But got sucked in getting a single 15"er
These are way too powerful and can easily handle even 1600 W RMS, in ported...
I am going for around 800-900 RMS in ... yet to decide what type of box!

Dynamat extreme is for sure better than Wurth. No doubts. But is it worth the extra green stuff it demands?
If you are very particular about the weight gain and wanna go the VLCC way, then close your eyes and get Extreme. There's nothing better when it comes to that.

Another option is to mix'n match. Some extreme here and some Wurth there etc

BTW How much does the wurth cost?
From some other posts on Team BHP, looks like it costs Rs.310 per sq ft.

Considering that Wurth is priced same as Dynamat. I think my deal on Dynamat Extreme @ 350 per sq ft is is a steal! What say?

Extreme is way more effective and also much easier to install...

Wurth is about Rs. 200-250 per sq. ft.

I didn't want to argue with your prices earlier. Wurth is not more than 200Rs per sq ft. There's a bit lighter version also which sells around 250rs. It'll save you min 100 bucks per sq ft.
I think it's a better buy.

Unless, you have some money waiting to be blown.

BTW, Kb got his whole pack of Extreme for 7.5k. That was a deal!
