Ok. That was a joke.
What I meant is the damping job was a lot. Covers almost everything in the boot.

AFAIK there is no damping whatsoever on that car & I think that is also what Gunbir meant.

Never mind there is Tons of Dynamat (Extreme) here...

Two layers of Dynamat on all 4 doors & boots, one layer on wheel wells
Full door inside

Full Door Outside

Full boot

Front compos are Hertz HSK165. They were the best I heard so far (could not find a Focal to hear, so they were out).

The install is complete and I will be writing a full report shortly.
It does sound Awesome, but some more fine-tuning is required!!!

Hear clean loud sound is so tempting and addictive, not sure how well my ears will take it!

My Sincere thanks to all the Gurus and friends on this forum for helping me out with this (and also inflating my budget ) I should have taken the warnings of entering this forum more seriously, lol...
Special thanks to Navin, B&T, Gunbir, LBM, KB100, JB, Speedzak, Sam, S0uljah, and all other wonderfull people out here...

BTW, any idea how to directly upload the image to the thread, putting Imageshack thumbnails one by one is cumbersome, both to upload and to download!

ST!!! Congratulations man!!
Finally your DB is rolling.

That damping job was a very good teaser. When do we get to see the rest??

From the pics, it seems the install is being done at Autofusion, Koramangala. Am I right?

I will be in Bangalore tomorrow and day after. Can I have a peek??

Unfortunately not, there is lot of travel (driving) planned for this week...
Tomorrow and day after I am in Mysore and then the weekend in Kemmangundi... :(
Should give enough to break in the speakers!

Moreover it's appraisal season so life is very busy, but I promise to post the details within next 10 days...

@ST7677

Like your enthu and reminds me of the doc's ICE saga which went on for months.

Hmm i saw that extreme dynamat being stuck to the boot at autofusion and also lifted that massive 15 inch Bramha SPL/SQL sub ( It takes a couple of manly hands to lift it and god knows what its gona do in the boot of yours. Remember a red and silver swift parked inside autofusion on saturday and one guy inquiring you about your setup. That was me :-))

I read all the posts today from your initial budget of 25K till the latest update. I havent done much of useful work today except for reading the posts.Your budget has crossed 1.5 Lakhs( you mentioned that!!).

Man, your wife is gonna curse you and T-BHP for not getting that 32 inch flat TV and i have a strong feeling that you have spent too much on the setup.

It usually is. For a while at least :-)

It is somewhat like the Peter Principle -- "Work expands to fill available time".

Hydra's ICE principle is "ICE budget expands to fill all available cash-flow".

It is the same for the most thin-walleted ICErs and the most well-heeled of ICErs. When you're done, you're dead-broke. Every available bit of cash is squeezed, wheedled out (of somebody or the other) and blown on ICE.

ST, you are a dedicated ICEr. May the ICE gods smile on you and give you satisfaction (for another few months at least), so that you may lead a normal domestic life!

If the ICE gods and the Courier gods smile on me, I may have a reasonable upgrade to brag about with pics before the middle of next week.
