Door pads opened and the previous Hertz DSK 165.3 and DCX 165.3 were removed. Damping material is 4 X Ballistic door packs + 1 X Trunk pack. Old spacer rings removed.

Amplifiers mounted. To the left is the JBL GTX 646 (4 channel) 65W RMS at 4 Ohms. To the right is the JBL GTO 501-EZ (monoblock) 500W RMS at 2 Ohms. The 4 channel was bridged to power the components. Wiring kits used were 2 X Focal performance series 8AWG amplifier power kits that include power cable, ground cable, fuse box, remote wire, RCA Cables and speaker cable (which I did not use)

The rear tray rattling issue was not solved with damping so the tray was removed and the metal area was carpeted using Fevicol but I was amazed to the finishing.

I was lucky when I went for the installation I got a chance to meet the GODS of ICE, Mr. Gunbir and Mr. Jasdeep from BBW Distributors who also are the suppliers for Driven and they were very helpful and I was blessed because these masters tuned my system for me.

I would highly recommend getting an install done from driven because these guys really know what ICE means and they are very good at what they do. Mr. Subhaan and Mr. Rana both helped me in every possible way and have informed me not to use the brand new speakers at full volume for a couple of days and turn up for another fine tuning session after the speakers have been used for a month. I don't think I can get a better service then that.

Thank you Subhaan, Mr. Rana, Mr. Gunbir, Mr. Jasdeep and the entire Driven team, you guys rock

Guys the music in my car is off the hooks and i can't even describe how good it sounds.

Coming up soon:

1) Upgrade to Rainbow Beat 4 (4 channel) because just like you guys I too feel that a JBL won't do justice to these speakers

2) Another PHD MF set for the rear passengers (Maybe)

3) Big 3 upgrade for the battery

4) 1 Farad Capacitor for the Monoblock (If I feel the need)

That's some nice hardware you've got Saurabh. You really need a better amp to get the best out of your comps.

Very neat install i must say! Cheers!

HU: Stock

Rockford Fosgate LoC - 3200

Focal 8 AWG X 2 = 3500 X 2 = 7000

Damping - 7000

MDF Rings (Custom made 1" inch thick) - 1200

Wiring - 2000

Monoblock - 11000

4 Channel Amp - 7000

Subwoofer - 13000

Front Components - 30000 (got a 25% off on this price which was a part of the BBW distributors limited time anniversary sale)

Upgrading to Rainbow Beat 4 next week - 22000 (Again 25% off on this price since today was the last day of the sale and I payed the booking amount)

So right now its a total of approx 70K but soon expected to increase because I am getting the rainbow amp and another set of components and a better HU

Why dont you consider the option of changing the Stock Head Unit, the DAC's that are used in stock head units are not that good, and even an after market Pioneer HU will do justice to the components and amplifiers that you have.
