I Want Some Space In Boot So If You Suggest 2 Subs Then One Will Go Under The Seat.
For How Much Do You Get 8850 ?
I Want To Play Only Audio From Ipod.
now for the amps get a 4 channel for the speakers one pair in the front and one pair at the back or the middle seats ..this amp should be equal or can be more than the jbl gto 75.4
http://www.jbl.com/car/products/prod...=US&region=USA

for the speakers infiniti kappa , alpine , illision audio. have good speakers you can give a try to them......if possible try to listen them first before buying them and try one thing more try to use the same songs and same cd when comparing the stuff which will minimise the difference on the software part.....

for the subs u want good bass get a ported box or even a band pass as it will only satifsy ur bass need . dont go for sealed as they are nothing compared to ported and bandpass but at a little cost of SQ... I have a ported box myself freq below 25-30 hz are not produced but after that range man the whole car shakes .......I myself have observed that the differnce between a sealed and ported is nearly 4-5 db....and might be even high for the bandpass also...

now u will be needing atlest two subs to achive the bass in such a huge cabin. one can try the shallow subs for this purpose like the illision audio ndi series.. the 12 inch has a mounting depth of 3.25 inch and has a good power handling also (400watts rms). they are svc 4 ohms u can buy to of these and connect them parallel to get the max from the amp at 2ohms....

get a monoblock (d-class) for this purpose ....I myself using alpine v12 mrd-d1005....good amps....

I got my 8850 for 20k now it might be at 19k .

good if u want only audio I would highly recommend the 8850 with the ipod interface man this way u can get to search the ipod like u using the ipod til now I have seen the alpine and kenwood they are way behind pioneer in the interface thing.....u would love browsing the Ipod from the hu ....

Actually the earlier LRx6 is a 5.1 amp, perfect for car theatre. Navinji, for your reference, here are the specs of the new LRx6.9

I like this one a lot cuz its a one amp solution to most front+rear+sub systems as well as front+rear+stereo subs and high+mid+low (in fact, its built in crossovers can do a 3way) systems too. And it takes little space, needs no distribution blocks etc. All this, good power, AND audiophile sound.

In which case one better get the LRx5, which has more power for those channels. Unless one plans to upgrade to surround sound in the future. Details:

> earlier LRx5.600 - 60w x 4 + 180w x1 = Rs 44420
> earlier LRx6SR - 55w x 5 + 150w x 1 = Rs 51010

LBM thats been mentioned in the specs section of the LRx AB catalogue (link posted recently).

Its 70wx4 (4Ohms) + 480x1 (2Ohms) and the price for the new LRx6.9 is Rs 52200.

here goes the 75% of the budget mugen has asked for 70k budget ...ok anyways this amp will be one of the best sounding amps but I think mugen will not buy it as it will disturb his budget or we must wait for him to confirm that he wants this amp.

for this I would suggest get a jbl 75.4 amp for the speakers and pioneer d510 for the sub. if one is planning for two subs he can get another d510 which will be more than sufficent for the job. the installation would be a diffcicult job dressing the wires but the end result will be a cheaper one....

one more thing the above 6 ch amp is a ab class for all channels so it wil be consuming more power when comparing the d class amp..
