Default USB Adapter / Connector for the Maruti Wagon R (Nippon System)

Thanks to Prabhakar Rao for sharing this information (link to Team-BHP Share).

I do see some posts on the forum inquiring about a USB adapter for the WagonR's Nippon system.

I was able to find a seller who is offering the USB adaptor for the Wagon R's Nippon HU for INR 2000. Earlier price was INR 1500.

I placed an order on the 19th of September and the product was delivered on 23rd September. I've installed it and found the same to be working like a charm. The sound output with stock speakers is satisfactory. However, there is no manual or warranty provided with the product. You can pay for the product using Payumoney which has a 'Buyer Protection Policy'...you have the authority to release the payment only after you have received the product.

Below is the website & contact info for your reference. I am sure that thousands of BHPians will benefit from this information.

Default Re: USB Adapter / Connector for the Maruti Wagon R (Nippon System)

The price has now increased to INR 2,700.00. But it obviates the need to carry CDs, as Prabhakar Rao states in his share, I guess it is worth every rupee.

Just a query, though. Is this a DIY product that I can plug in myself or do I have to get some expert to install it?
