Could u please put some more light on as to Why the fill/foam should be put inside, and how much the difference is?

some of the reasons have been covered in post 14. the idea is to absorb the back wave of the woofer to prevent doppler distortion and other related effects. ported boxes need more carefull stuffing so that the port is not blocked. most materials (fiberglass, dacron, etc...) tend to absorb more pf the midbass than the low bass so the port still functions normally.

I dont think so...
I used Recron synthetic fiber in new subwoofer enclosure, after that Lower Fq like 20,31.5 and 50 gets more effective.
