If you have somebody coming down from the US, the Clarion is the best bet.

Also, Kenwood 6539 has been discontinued.
Clarion 785 has also been discontinued

I was quoted Rs. 8,000 for the Pioneer 3190 and Rs. 9,000 for the 4190. Both with bill and warranty. Are these prices good?

I am not sure how good the prices are, but the pioneer HU's of late are not too good. If you want good SQ, i'd advise you to go for a kenwood. I was a pioneer user till now and recently bought a Kenny X7009, and the difference it brought to my ICE is just minfblowing. It has all the features one needs except TA.

No specific reason. I figure an additional 10 - 15 % is worth it for the b&w. How much do the 5050 and 7150 go for?

Thanks!

Thanks! I want to spend Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 12,000 in total including 4 speakers so I figured Rs. 5,000 - Rs. 7,000 for the HU and Rs. 5,000 for the four co-ax speakers. This is a Spark so all of them will be 4". I guess I'll post a seperate thread as well.

Thanks again.

Then try for a kenwood 5039(or whatever its successor is called). It has USB too. It costs around 5.5k grey. Instead of four 4" coax(Which will sound pathetic). Go for bigger comps up front. (you may have to do a lil work on the doorpads). After some time, you can get a 6X9 for the rear too.

Does the spark have speaker pods on the doors? i'f so, they may be able to accomodate 5.25" comps, since i'm using the same in my matiz without any mods.
