I am looking at a logical upgrade to the Eclipse 5100. Though the SQ and all are great, its a real clumsy HU to operate.

The HU I am looking for shd have the following options
1: TA
2: iPod control (hopefully with an adapter)
3: USB slot (apart from the adapter since I'd like to plug in both at the same time)
4: BT
5: Budget of around USD 250 incl P&P

Anything which meets the criteria and is available in India ?

Have a look at kenwood x993.
Kenwood - KDC-X993

SQ - Check
Ta - Check
USB - Check (Inbuilt)
Ipod support - Check (Inbuilt)
BT - Check

Costs around $250 USD but not available in India.

A friend in US is using this. He is very happy with the purchase and founds it better than 9887.

Thanks Abhi.

Any Indian alternative to the X693 ? It has everything the 993 has except for BT. And for close to 60 USD, I guess I can live without BT
