Pioneer 2290 is fine but you can get some good 4 or 5 series HUs like 4050, 5050, 4190, 5190 etc if someone have them in stock. I think they will be better though they are from old series.

Default Pioneer Bluetooth Adaptor

Guys
Does Pioneer offer their bluetooth adaptor kits in India? None of the dealers here in cochin have them. I would like to have that with my AVH-P 5750 dvd player.
Cheers
Dilip

I recently bought myself a JVC KD R415 for about 4.5k without bill and warranty. It has all the possible inputs like USB, AUX, AM, FM, CD and sounds pretty fine with my pioneer 6X9 speakers at the rear. With warranty should be around 5K or less.

Exclamation Jvc?

Hola,
I'm looking for a H.U with blue-tooth option for my Alto. One of the dealer here in Bangalore suggested JVC! I was inclined towards Pioneer. He says JVC has 5V pre-out as compared to 2.5V of Pioneer. He suggested JVC KDR 716 for INR 10,750/- with B&W. What do you guys think? and yes this will be my setup.

Front - Infinity Ref 6.5 Components
Rear - JBL GTO 948 co axials
AMP - JBL-GT5 S644
Damping - yes, Dynamat!

Thank you,
-Z

Hey Zombie69,

What a coincidence that I too have an Alto, and I too am looking for a similar set up as you are except for Front Comps JBL 265c and yes HU is still undecided. What's the quotes you have got ? With or without B/W?

I got a few options,
Option 1 - Pioneer H.U + Infinity Reference 6.5 + Infinity Ref Co-axials + JBL GT5-S644 Amp

Option 2 - Replace Front Comps and Rear Co-axials with Boston Acoustics

Option 3 - Rockford Fosgate Front Comps and Rear Co-axials powered by Auditor 4 Ch. Amp.

All the three combination's will cost around 30K ballpark with wiring and installation and hopefully good tuning. I will be auditioning all three setup in my car and will choose the best to my taste!

Where are you planning to get your ICE installed?

Cheers!

Default P80rs

Folks, I've found a Pioneer P80RS apparently brand new. Dealer's in National market and quoting 18k for it w/o B&W. What do you think of the price?

Looking for the Pioneer P80RSII. Is this the same model? Sorry for this question as I am not very familiar with the Pioneer models. They are pretty confusing at times :-)
