I have Pioneer DEH 6250BT in my Swift. Performs really well. I got this keeping in mind the BT feature that it had. The external mic picks up the voice really well. I have some pics in my thread with a video as well.

Can anyone tell me which of the two HU's mentioned above is better - i have heard a lot about the 7016 capabilities but would like to know more about the latter. I am looking at the MP5343U for its DVD-Audio playing capabilties. Also, I would like to know if there is any time-lag or distortion while playing from USB/Aux (ipod)?

Hi,

Bought JBL-X555 HU from Sachin's auto shop, Koramangala on last friday for INR 5000-quoted 5200- implies that we will get it for 5000:-).

Listened to Pioneer HU-DEH 2390 UB and Kenwood of similiar technical specifications(dont remember the model no.- price quoted was INR 5500), while selecting. Sound quality of Kenwood is below par of JBL and Pioneer and could be made out easily. However, Kenwood HU looks beautiful with blue lights and effects.

Heard from some aquaintences that quality of base models of Pioneer has come down, hence selected JBL. HU looks ordinary but sound quality is better than my old Sony. Have sony Xplod speakers and need to change to JBL soon. Prices of JBL(pair) back speakers were quoted for INR 2500.

Hi,
So I was out looking for a HU and the store at which I generally pick up my ICE quoted Rs. 20,000 for the JVC AVX 846. I'm a little skeptical about the price. It's a tad low isn't it? Or is there always such a difference between grey market items and those with B&W?

I've never had a problem with this guy before, but I don't know why, this doesn't feel all that right.

Can anyone suggest me a BT enabled HU single or 2 din does not matter, but should be high on SQ within a budget of 8K. I am looking at installing 2 amps 1 sub, 1 pair 6X9, 1 pair comps, it should be compatible with all this equipment.
