Picked up one the last remaining units of the Clarion CZ703A at a price of Rs 16,500/- I'm told that it is one of the last remaining units in the country, and the official import has stopped since the sales are less for expensive single din audiophile head units.

Features:

http://www.clarion.com/in/en/product.../audio/CZ703A/
  • Capable of supporting 3 way active system (2 way front stage + sub)
  • Digital Time alignment.
  • 3 pre-outs with a high 5V pre amplified output.
  • Internal amplifier can be switched off completely, if not required.
  • Bluetooth audio streaming and call functions.
  • Microphone inbuilt on the headunit (On the left side though!)
  • Dual USB (One front and one rear).

Also, some prices of other single din options considered:

JVC KD R80 BT (Discontinued, but available on snapdeal) - Rs 10,366/-
Pioneer DEH 8750 BT - Rs 12,000/-
Pioneer DEH 80 PRS (Includes import customs charges) - Rs 24,800/-

Amazon.com imports it from USA. Wait for the Christmas sale, you can get it a bit cheaper. Even I'm in the market for 80PRS waiting for a sale to come.

Best bet would be if you can source it from USA through a friend. I have seen people selling it for 24k in other forums but have not come across any recently.

Hi guys.
My requirements -
Car - Alto (old)
Single Din
Features - USB, Bluetooth (Don't want CD player)
Speakers - Just two in stock location on dashboard. Think the provision is for 4inch ones (This will be a beater car to supplement my soon to be delivered Ertiga)

Other requirement - Would prefer something that goes well with the minimalist interiors of Alto (black colour, with single colour white or yellow display)

Please tell me what options I have and what I should budget for. Not looking into sound quality etc. Just should be reliable and last long.

Mid level Pioneer players between 4.5-6K(dont remember the models) but with USB/Aux and BT(if available), Cerwin Vega 4" or any brand(not many brands have 4") which has decent 4" should be affordable all set within 10-11K max for a better setup. Going too cheap wont last.

I have got a price of 15.2k for the Pioneer AVH-289BT. Is this a good price or can it be lower?
