The GTO4060 , 60th anniversary limited edition was released yesterday for India. Already on itís way to some cities. Itís strictly Ltd. ed. So smaller cities may not see it at all.
Looks awesome Sam... am sure it sounds awesome too!! any chance of a couple of these being shipped eastwards?

So, which is better .. the 75.4 or this one?
(a) performance wise?
(b) looks wise?

@Sam - how long for the 75.4 yet?

i too believe it looks nicer than the 75.4 or 755.6 or that series. Is there/will there be a 5-6 channel version of this amp?

But sadly LBM, your journey to a perfect S P L (or S Q L now) seems to be eternal.

BTW, any difference in specs between 75.4 and this ltd edition?

To answer bluntly,

Performance: Much more power than 60.4, not as much power as 75.4. I like it very much as in bridged mode it has snough power and more.
At this price, killer performance.

Looks: This amplifier is beautiful. Even the centre logo lights up softly. A fresh new design, as is present on whatver few ltd ed. amplfiers. Collectors will be proud.

Availability: Short time. There is a large qty of these amps being shipped to metros. Regulars are very excited.

Variations (2ch, 6 ch.): None. As LBM pointed out, it's a 60th anniv relelease, one amplifier only.

Panky, If you can sit in a car and enjoy the sound for say 30 min, then it can be considered a SQ install.... which is definitely not so in LBMs case! His is an SPL setup! unapologetically LOUD and bass centric. But then our man is a bass head by his own admission.

Good equipment does not define the end sound, the end sound has to justify the equipment. Just as good ingredients do not make good food, good cooking does!

very well said Gunman!! just cant be better!!

sorry for my ltd knowledge, but here I have to admit that LBM has one of the best SPL set-ups I've seen & think he and his neighbours enjoys it more than 30 min a day! ;-)

Yes, his setup should be one of if not the loudest setup around. With that kind of output he should be very careful with prolonged listening.

Any other SPL setup around would love to see and hear them also.....Ya I agree to you 100% prolonged listening would sure do some great damage....thats why the SPL is used for show-off only....when I am alone the sub level is about 9 db low in case of regular play......

I admit it I am bass head .... I love low end of the sound spectrum....but some T-bhp members ( I dont need to give names here) have heard the setup in the regular mode when I am not showing-off and they can tell what type of response my setup give...I am not going for a debate here that my setup is the best sounding of all but for that we will have to have a competition and l leave the results to the judge of that competition....
