Nice install, romyeo! Bliss at last, huh? Thanks for so many pics. And for putting them up so fast too. The comps in front look well installed!

Gripes: Just the box. Did you ask the guy for a sealed box? And the box looks a wee bit more than 1 cu. ft. (for the sealed box) to me. Maybe it matches the ported-box specs, though.

You could try the fader at +2 towards the front otherwise the rears will kind of overshadow the fronts.

The way i set up a fader is to run it all the way to the front then keep pushing it to the rear one step at a time. When I can hear the rear (even a bit) I stop. Why?

a) The rear speakers are usually very close to the ears of the rear passengers so it should not be too loud

b) I dont want to mess with the front sound stage. The rears only provide a bit of fill for the rear passengers.

If that means fade to the front , by all means. Adjust to taste.

Are you driving the 6X9's or the components off the HU? I was just wondering because you were talking about the fader.

hi,

nice install. thanks for the pics

you didn't tell us(sam, hydra) what size the enclosure is and if it is build according to jbl's recommendations. the enclosure specs should be in the manual :-)

About the fader thing, i only listen to my comps in the front. it is according to what you prefer. some like the sound coming from all the sides.

cheers
