I think he meant a canon camera that takes pics like that of a cell phone camera.

The problem lies in the person using the camera not in the camera itself otherwise a beautiful camera like the Canon S5iS just cant shoot such shabby pics !

Thanks everyone for the kind words. to answer a few queries.

The Eclipse HU is in a class of its own. I don't think anything from JVC or Kenwood, esp the DVD players come even close in terms os SQ or features.

The install is pretty amazing, even if i may say so myself. With no offence to MF, the pictures don't do any justice to how it actually looks. Certain aesthetic issues need to be dealt with, but for me they were never a priority over upgrading my music. Rest assured, they'll all be dealt with soon.

The Civic is certainly not the greatest car to ICE and I am fully aware that there will always be certain unresolvable shortcomings, esp. the subwoofer section. The boot design and accoustics in general don't allow absolutely satisfying bass, but then one has to work with what one has and accept what one can't change.

I am extremely pleased with this current setup and it suits my kind of music perfectly. I was never a basshead, but i do like tight integration. In this setup, the soundstage and imaging are truly awesome. There is loads of detail and vocals sound "live", which is just what i love.

The speakers are still opening up, so I wouldn't like to be overly critical at this stage. I'd like for everything to settle in, then tweak it further, and only then would I like to comment on the performance. As of now, listening is a pleasure.

@ Shrivz - The gains are not set on high. I believe setting them too high would actually harm the speakers while burning-in. The Genny is barely putting out 1/7th of what it can. Hold on, it'll get a lot louder!

@ Gunbir - Yes indeed. It is a Class D Mono

Will click some pics that should probably show this in a better light.

Amee - enroll me also for the tuitions.

Once I put the camera in some mode where it always took 3 pics when I clicked once. By the end of an inebriated night, when I was reviewing the pics, I was wondering why I took 3 pics of everyone.

Congrats, Vikram! Good stuff there! I knew there would be a speaker upgrade soon enough, when you have an amp like the Genesis installed!

hi all,

vikram - nice setup, congrats.

i was wondering, since iam new to the ICE thing,
what kinda music do you listen to? live stuff?
and why is your sub offset to the right? does it actually help in acoustics?

Thats the problem! you need to set the colour and white balance.

I was referring to the gains on the mono.. but yeah, as you said its a 2000W mono which is overpowering a 500W sub..
