Sharp, aren't you Nitrous? lol

The GT5-12 has been discontinued.

We announced a new woofer last week - It's called GT5-S12, we just uploaded details, look again at IndiaJBL and wait for the new Autocar/Overdrive et al.

More power!

It's not entirely new technology (or it would have been called GT6), justa few additions and tweaks to the older GT5. A mixture of marketing and technology.

so is everything since "Rice and Kellogg" :-)

Sorry for being such a cynic but really ever since Ernst Siemens (yes that guy) stuck a coil in a magnetic field and attached the coil to a diaphram and Alexander Bell (yes that guy too) used the same device for re-producing sound some 100+ years ago, the basic design of the Dynamic Transducer has been quite the same.

I'm not sure what you mean. It's right there under subwoofers, where it has been since introduced. It's the first item.

Sam, I still do not see the MRPs available in the indiajbl site? When is it expcted?

Probably this would answer five46 question indirectly

In all likelihood the website would carry the MRP. Nevertheless, it's good for reference.
(I know in my case the MRP for the said components is Rs.5990/-).

What I'm looking for is market operating B&W price.

Edit: In all likelihood the website would carry the MSRP (Thanks Lord Yeti!)

What you're looking for is MOP, not MSRP.

There can be a decent discount on the MSRP which you already know.
