I am most curious Rohan. How did you narrow on the Bostons? Did you listen to them?

Live in Goa! No place here that has provisions to listen before one buys.
However i did listened to Boston, RF, pioneer in other cars and liked the sound of the Bostons amongst them. So decided to play it safe. Besides a friend of mine did the install and he reccommended the Bostons or JBLs. Since he had the bostons with him in stock ( i would have to get the JBLs from elsewhere) ...so boston it was.

A couple of :
Is it advisable to listen to music with the 'loud' setting on or off?
Thinking of a sub change as well. Is it ok to change my current 12" sub with a 10" ?

Update: Bostons installed. Changed the sub too to 10" pioneer. Apparently the sub cone had become hard. It was more than 4years old.
