Default first guy to get the 9887 in india

and its me ASK THE SUPREME HI FIDELITY IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME
here are some pics of the unit..

http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...ujral06/al.jpg

outside the box ..its stunning..its detail and finishing is very good
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...jral06/al1.jpg
at the back you can see 3 pairs rca out, ainet connector ,antenna connector,cd changer connector, speakers terminal connector
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...jral06/al5.jpg

this is at the bottom side of the unit
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...jral06/al7.jpg

well heres the big thing..-THE IMPRINT DECODER CONNECTOR(BOTTOM RIGHT)
http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/f...jral06/al2.jpg

OVERALL THIS A NICE SYSTEM BUT YOU NEED SOME SERIOUS INSTALLERS AND HIGH END SPEAKERS TO HEAR "THAT" DIFFRENCE WHICH A 24 DAC CAN MAKE AND OFCOURCSE WITH THE IMPRINT

Note from mod: DO NOT USE OVERSIZED images inpost. While posting images make sure you use atmost 1200x1080. 800x600 is ideal posting size.

Congratualtions for your Alpine 9887, it is surely one of the best HU's at its price.

What amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers are you using with it and which car do your own.

Hi Guys,

This is old news here. I dont know about India but I think I was one of the first on TBHP to have got one. I purchased mine on the 10th September and installed it on the 13th.

In any case I dont understand what the big deal is to dedicate a thread behind it.

Welcome to TBHP, Aman(deep?)

It's nice to see an intro-thread in the ICE Section! Do let us know what else you have installed, or are you still in the process of getting the rest of the equipment? And do let us know what car you drive.

Enjoyyyyy!

It's a really nice-sounding HU, at a nice price. Alpine's current flagship unit (of non-DVD units). It supports Audyssey's IMPRINT tech for automatic setup/tuning of sound for each seat (additional SW and HW needed). Lots of setup, tuning and connectivity options, if you want to really go to town with your ICE. 24-bit Burr Brown DAC, etc. etc. More in the linky below.

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. - CDA-9887

BTW, FlyingBong has one installed in his Cedia too.
