Question Alipine HU repair

My Alpine HU 9830 2.5 years old has stopped working due to negligence as my son spilt water on it. I am in Bangalore, can anyone tell me where I can get it repaired or checked to see if it can get back to its original shape

Wow, your son has real good aim to get water into the HU! Don't fret - it happens!

How did you infer it does not work? Does it not switch on at all, or switches on but does not read CD's or play FM?

I think Alpine has a service center in Chennai. Check on their website for the contact details.

Perhaps @blueraven might have some contacts who can work on an Alpine HU in Bangalore.

I think he is bored of your old unit and need and upgrade to something like 9887... If you tried to turn it on or he filled it with water when it was in switched on mode getting it repaired is as good as you buying a new HU. So take this chance and upgrade.. Let your kid enjoy

Note: Dont forget to gift the old damaged unit to ur kid to preserve for his reference in future
