Congrats, buddy! That is sure one beast of an amp. Looks like you're going to need all of the back of the back seat to mount it.

And it looks like you're going to need to spend a small fortune on damping the car too?

Waiting to see the subs.

Hello Gill paji!! Punjab ka mausam kiddan aya?? "Mods excuse me for the punjabi" as I belong to Jalandhar

Comming to the point, Yes i will stick to the current JBL 75.4. At the moment power the front JBL components and rear JBL co-axials with it. But, surely will replace the rear co-axails with, most probably Infinity components (Reference series).

Why did I opt for this amp?.....hmm.....well, i was looking for specifically 2500 watts @ 2 ohms as i decided on the subwoofers before the amp was thought of.
Had a few other amps on the list like CrossFire XP2400d, US Amps, Sundown SAZ3000.1, DD M3 amps. But reason for not going with none of the above was that they are not officially available in india, so any problem with those....then "Custom Support" would be a alien phrase to me. Had DD amp on the wish list, but it was totally out of budget and DD's are damm expensive.

So finally thinking about the customer support and power, and more over i assume Kicker to be a professional car audio brand, i settled for it.

Never heared it and no one suggested it, bus dil kiya toh liya....... Sahi kiya???

Ya forgot, also had the JBL BPX2200.1 on the wish list but was out of stock every where.....Although being a JBL Fan, this BPX was my dream amp. Rating wise, kicker seems slightly powerful than the BPX, so fingers crossed and hope zx2500.1 does not let me down. Ya i know BPX is rated at 4 and 1 ohms and ZX is at 2 ohms.

Ya, hope the way it looks, it sounds too . Made some measurements and good news is that back seat is all gone for it!! not a inch more to spare.

Damping.....have a budget of around 25k, although the boot is damped. Did it for the previous pair of GT4-15.

Subs.....i hope its gonna be a surprise for u guys, because even after knowing, it still a surprise to me....hehehehe
