Default 2nd hand Blaupunkt Velocity 4120, how much ?

Guys,

Picking up this amp, any idea how much was/is a new one (heard it is no longer in production) and how much is a good rate to pay for this ?

Also opinions for this amp are welcome.

Cheers

Default Additional Info !

Using this amp with a pio 7950 headunit, bridged 2 channels (seems it puts out 350W RMS @ 4 ohms bridged) to drive my Infinity ref 1240se sub (300W RMS @ 4 ohms)which comes in a company box. The other 2 channels drive my pio helmet 2150 speakers. Fronts are pio 2 ways + pio T20 tweeters.

Picking up this amp from a friend who wants 12k for it, is this okay ? FYI, It is still sealed and not been opened. Seems it is not available any more and he says he paid around 25k for it when he bought it.

Also heard rumours that this amp causes engine noise, is it true ? Does anyone have any experience/heard of this, what kind of noise is it ?

I have noticed a whining noise in the car, like wind passing thru a small gap in the window, but when all windows were shut, the noise persists.
Was wondering if this had any connection with he amp installation cause it started when I installed the amp.

Gonna have it checkedup this week when time permits.

Thanks in advance

DIY !

Take a copper wire and bind it to a screw at the back of the HU. Then coil the same wire over your RCA plugs! Simple.

If you still need help just go over to any accessory shop and the boys will do it for 10 bucks.
