I did the upgrade in parts and here is my final setup

Wonderful setup Dippy. I love JBL sound clarity. Must be sounding really good.
It is exactly what I am planning in my car. I got the same amp.
I am still not able to decide about the SUB in an enclosure or to go for the tube. I am going for JBL SUB.

I need tight bass, I don't like boom boom. Please give me your suggestion.
I would appreciate your feedback. Please explain how it sounds in your car.

Willy.

Hi willy

The setup sounds great. You can go in for the bass tube if dont want too much of heavy bass. A sub in an enclosure (read box) will give you more boom boom which I read that you dont want. I'm not an ICE guru, just a novice. This my first proper setup really.

The other gurus here will be able to help you to the T.

Btw willy what car are you doing this setup in?

My answers in bold

I found the base tube pretty good. It makes sense only if you have a car with a boot though.

Hey Dippy, Great setup out there and hope it sounds great too...

You can also think of strapping the bass tube with welcrow or similar so that you identified position does not change.

Also

Also make sure the carpet under the co-passenger seat do not get damped with moisture or water

Nope the JBL tubes don't come with in-built amps.

It gives the music some base to make its impact more power full.

Hi Dippy...you mentioned Auto Crafts. Is this in Thakur village, Kandivali(e). I stay there. I have just bought my ritz and am searching for a place to get my ICE done. Is this place good and do they take care about not cutting the wires? Another option I am thinking about is Sound Factor in Mira road. Do let me know your views.

Yes Auto Crafts is in Thakur Village. I stay there too. He did my full install and did it pretty well. Good considering hes close to home. If distance is not an issue for you, you can go to Sound Factor as well. But in Thakur Village, AC seems a good option.
