Thank you.
I think you are also running Ground Zero TW12MK2 with KAC8401. Are you satisfied with the performance?

I'm driving the GZ with bridged channels of a JBL 75.4. Underpowered for the sub, but good enough for me. It's nice and punchy.

Waiting for someone to offer me a secondhand one, as a new sub is out of my budget. Classified Ad posted here.

One of my friend got JBL CS1204B without box in 2700 (WB&W) and paid 300 bucks for mdf box.

I hope its not fake but he said that when he went to the shop, the guy first asked whether he wanted fake or original product.

The deal is looking yummy. What will be the difference between JBL Box and local box as far as SQ is concerned.

Possibly non-ideal dimensions - affects intended / expected SQ. Definitely fit and finish.

JBL enclosure for 1204B is simply awesome. Like DerAlte mentioned, the fit and finish, quality of the enclosure and most importantly the size may be compromised. 300 bucks for the enclosure is too low. I suspect some cheap plywood here.

Ya it will be a marine grade wood box. I would not suspect much more there. The 0.75 inch thick MDF is approx 30 per sq feet. If I take a 1 cuft box it will have minimum of 14 inch per side that would be 8.2 cuft of wood include approx 10 % wastage that would be 9 cuft. So the raw material alone would cost Rs 270.

As LBM pointed out, the raw material alone is almost that much or for maybe a bit more.

Definately not MDF. Particle board maybe.
