Autophile, I dont get your point.
Navinji, although it wont affect the sound at all, after so much of hard work, it could have been better. had it been made by a noob diyer like me it would have been ok. This is made by a carpenter and they can do a much better job IMO.

Otherwise, the install is nice and clean and i like it.

LBM,

Human can localize sound much better in a horizontal plane than in a vertical plane. so even if a speaker is installed in that location, the sound seems to come from the dash at the ear level.

the path difference is also much less than placing the tweets on the dash plus the reflection would not be as much as the tweets placed on the dash.

So i think it is a good location to place drivers there.

thats true clipto and morever the distance of both the drivers are 'almost' same hence creating a better soundstage.

Tweeters are never delayed as they are the reference points of the system and adding the delay to the tweeters will ruin the imaging. Thats why competitors prefer kicks as it gives maximum physical distance to the tweeters from listener. Midbasses are delayed to achieve stage height and better integration with tweeters finally the subwoofer is delayed to match with the front stage.

Adding delay on the passives is pointless unless you have same distance of Midbass and Tweeter from listeners ears.

I have not seen installs where tweeter are in kick facing each other.

But which part of the sound spectrum they produce can make hell lot of difference. You can localize a tweeter but not a woofer. But they both are TRANSDUCERS.

There are many I think you have capabilities to google them atleast. More over the tweeters cannot really face each other as there is part of dashboard and transmission tunnel as a obstruction in between them in every car. We are not talking here / taking examples of "Flintstone Cars".
So what will happen to the sound reflected by the part of dashboard and transmission tunnel as a obstruction in between them ???

lbm the only problem with the reflected sound is that you feel multiple sources of sound as if there are more number of speakers!!!!!
