Give me your e-mail address, I shall mail some to you.
This is with the older amps - Audiobahn.
The installation I have clicked and saved some where, will have to find it.

That set up was changed.

I threw the Audiobahn & Soundstream & MTX amps out & replaced wuth with Steg - what a differance. I was crying with the money I had to pay Hermit for the Stegs [50 to 65 K per amp], but what an upgrade. cheers:

Thanks.
I'm told Pai electricals (santa cruz, near Nagpal's old office in Khira Nagar) does a decent job and might be able to make a larger alternators too.

I am a greenhorn when it comes to ICE/Audio. But one thing that everyone keeps saying is - choose equipment and install such that it sounds good to your ears. You strongly believe in this too.

I have a potentially dumb question.

You are planning to do the install as per your liking. However, you mentioned that it is for your wife. Does she share your musical tastes? Would she like an install done the way you like it?

No scope !

My wife is a 'music lover'
She hates audio.
Her favourite thing is her mobile phone - Nokia 5310 Express Music.
She listens to her radio & old hindi movie sound tracks on the phone.
She does not even want a set up in the car.

It is me who is an 'audio lover'

I love to do this.
If I had more cars, I would install even more.

I do not even like the i-10 as a car. I got it for her. It is a full 'panzy / gay' car [sorry] !!!

I need to keep this install simple & clean. Hence the issobarik / compound load for the bass [makes the enclosure very very small] & only front speakers.

Given your passion you gotta meet LBM in ND. This is the exact soundstage you will experience in the rear seat of his Swift.

LBM, please oblige.

To hear it at the levels you like to hear your sound, ask him to play it in Fareedabad and you will be able to audition it at Parel.

You might wanna try talking to a mechanic with sound knowledged.

Calculate the RMS power pushed out by your audio then the alternator power Required for your audio can be got that way.

After that u must find an alternator thats fits in your car without any major mods.

I am looking for a 120 Amp alternator but cant find one to fit in they are too big :(

For now i cut out the battery when ever i dont use vehicle i dont even leave batt connected not even over night

Preserve has kept me going for 2 months now i dont know when it will die :(

Has LBM 'aligned' the bass for the rear seat ? Or for the drivers seat ?
If I sit on the rear seat & the TA has been done for the front seat - I will get very sick [it happens - physically a feeling of throwing up]. It is a very very uncomfortable feeling...........
