Are you looking for a monoblock or a 2-channel amp ?

The blaupunkt GTA 280 is a 2-channel amp. 210 W RMS at 4 ohms. Blaupunkt - Amplifier - GTA-Series - GTA 280

If youre looking for a mono i'd suggest the JBL CS300.1. I got a PM from nitrous saying that its available for 5.8K

EDIT : I dont know if the CS amp is currently available.

i had an audition of sohails ground zero sub on jbl 75.4 amp. it was amazing. the same sub i put in my car and it was down. i put my philips sub in his car and it was sounding very good.
i think the issue is the amp. i need more power. rather than sub the issue is with the amp. what is the best option for more watts in 2 channel in a costing of around 5-6 k?

Powering the sub with 2 or 4 channel amp is just ok not the best option, go for Mono and JBL GTO 301.1 is VFM mono amp to drive any 250-300 W RMS subs, available for 8.5-9 K in grey market if not bothered about B&W.

Like I mentioned in my previous post. You could go for the Blaupunkt GTA 280.

Dude , I'm using the Sony 2 channel with exact same specs as yours with a Sony 300W rms sub in sealed MDF box. I am completely satisfied with the amount of bass I get knowing what I paid for the stuff. And in the past one year I havent faced any problems whatsoever.

Let me tell you that I would anyday prefer having this amp/sub setup in my car rather than having no sub at all. Not that there arent better options around but in ICE , like in anything else , you get what you pay for(well ...mostly ).

Default Budget Totalled Me satisfied

hello friends,
today i gave it to the hell. i sold off the sony amp and the the philips woofer and got a JBL 75.4 amp. still not settled with the sub. will have to wait for 2 days as gt5 and ground zero mk2 are the two options i am having.
for time being he has fitted a 1000 watts jbl sub in bass reflex box.
believe me guys i tried the kenwood 8401 pio and what not. no one beats JBL 75.4. on basic settings and very less gains, both the rear speakers and sub sounds amazing.

Great choice of amp dude, now get a good sub and you're good to go!
And at least before u make a purchase this time, listen to all the options u have and then put your money down, so that u don't have to suffer this ordeal all over again!!

i have learnt a lesson for my life. i will never waste my money so haphazardly.
for the sub i am quite narrowed to ground zero MK2 and gt5. both are good. i will try both.
still gurus here can suggest amongst these 2

I haven't heard the GZ, but i have a GT-5 in a sealed box, driven off a blau, GTA 480, and i must say, it really good. tuned it in a way that i get good quality bass, and not outright Thump!

gt5 in a sealed box? i think its well suited in a ported box, especially the base reflex box. and the GZ is meant for sealed box performance.
what kind of bass do u get. JBL sounds bright and i think u might be getting a hard bass.
