Default Kenwood HU price

Ok - I have posted the pics of my new Kenwood HU DPX MP5110U, in the Sound off-show off section under "Cool ICE for fiesta Sxi" Do take a look. This particular model is a 2 DIN, and cost me 9.5 K (grey, sold to me by a nice BHPian from delhi),With B&W, it was quoted at 15.5 K (Bangalore), and that too, you have to order it.

Sounds good, and looks great

Agree with you GH, but my primary source is USB. AFAIK, none of the Alpine systems in that price range are USB friendly.

KDC-X9006U
KDC-X8009U
KDC-X7009U
KDC-BT7539U
KDC-MP6539U

1. Which of these has the best built-in amp? That is, which of these would be the best bet for a no-amp setup with Image Dynamics CTX65 or Rainbow SLX265?

2. Which of these is the warmest and the most neutral (clean) sounding?

You cannot get 8009 and 9006 via kenwood india.

7009 is what you get with bill and 2yr warranty and has the slight advantage as its in the xelelon series.

6539 is more like an over all package for the money.

6539 seems to have more goodies from the feature list in Kenwood's site than 7009 is that correct? So, the 7009 has a markedly better sound reproduction to justify the higher cost is it?

Also, which of the two (6539 and 7009) is the better choice for a no-amp setup with ID CTX65?

@ nishantgandhi - Kenwood 6539, i thought it might be posted here earlier, being one of the most popular HU at t-bhp. It's 9k with bill, still not available in grey.

Any idea if 6539 is expected to hit grey market in future?
would it be wise to wait for it till hits grey?
or rather buy 5039 at ~5K withoutB&W or spend 9K on 6539?.

@akshay is it worth buying it in grey if yoy buy it with b&w you get 2 years warranty.

if it is available or will in near future will cost you around 7k so its better to buy it with b&w.
