yes buddies. thats the Pioneer MADE IN MEXICO TS-W305F 12" sub in a custom made ported enclosure

That HEAD UNIT [DEH-P5750MP] rocks since it comes with 3 pre outs whereas the higher end model DEH-6750MP came with 2 pre outs only and at a higher cost :P

I suppose the woofer is a Free-Air one, I had the same setup on my ikon before (With DEH5850MPH), But SW mounted to the plank between the speakers.

How good is it in the sealed enclosure

hi sathee

i had the same woofer directly on the plank in the centre. it wasnt impressive at all, mayb coz of the holes in the speaker provision at the sides. the effect in the enclosure was a tremendous boost. and yes its a free air type . i guess W-305F if i'm not mistaken. a closed type would have performed better. but no probs so far. touch wood

a closde box sub need a box. a free air sub uses your car's trunk as a box.
