Default Can someone comment on the prices ?

Hello folks

I am looking to JBL'fy my SX4 . After going through the forums came up with the following things :

jbl 75.4 amp + 607c comps and a 937se coaxials . So went to the JBL showroom and enquired about the prices .

jbl 75.4 - 15000
jbl 607c - 7500 (dont exactly remember the price quoted)
jbl 937se- 4500

So just wanted to find out ya guys if the prices are decent as i went to a different reputed dealer and he offered the woofer for 8.5k , components for 4500 and the coaxials for 2800 ( all of them without warranty) and in the same shop blaupunkt 480 was offered for around 6.3k .

So can some1 kidly comment on the prices offered and suggest any other worthy alternatives . Looking to hear from sam bhai

Are these quotes with B&W? The 75.4 and the 607C are too expensive, even with B&W IMHO. No idea about the 937 though.

JBL 75.4: 8.5K (app) grey/13K (discontinued), Comps 607C: 4K (grey)/ 6.5K (B&W), Coax 937: 2.7K (grey)/ 4.5K (B&W)

someone CAN offer you lower for B&W products too!!

hey man ,
the choice of equipment is great. No doubts on that. Except that have you auditioned the illusion El 6.1 . ???? They are really awesome. Not that the jbl's dont sound good. They rock. But just found the illusion's to be more suited to my taste ( great bass .... and i dont have a sub !) ..... as far as the prices are concerned i think they are over priced . I dont know if the jbl 75.4 is available anymore but in the grey market it would cost about 8000-8500. the jbl 607c should cost approx 4000 in the grey market. And the 937 about 2500 -3200.

cheers
