TRU Coppers will not have any crossovers only Independent Gains. How ever they will be available in following versions :

The power amp section remains same (250W X 4) (750W X 2 Bridged on SS version) but preamp differs.

C74HT - Tube preamp section, No Bridging Possible

C74SS - Solid State preamp with Burr Brown opamps, Bridgeable

C74DS - Direct module, no preamp, hence purest signal. No bridging. However you need Line Driver to drive the output stages of the amplifier.

Even I was wondering the same thing, When you have >100W amps with >100 dB S/N , as long as they live on the same PCB, without any sort of EM shielding between sections ( i didn't see any in the pic) there should be some cross talk, certainly not nil.

Agreed.

Steel series do have independent traces on the PCB along with power supplies. The crosstalk will be very less. Remember you are looking at 42K amplifier.

Dual mono design is like having two seperate amplifiers hence the so called seperation number does not apply.

I was thinking on the same lines. Even if it is a dual mono the chassis is the same. There is no way that there will zero cross talk.

Here is Steg Class A amp specs.

And it is a Dual-Mono design.

I believe that B&T (Bass & Trouble) represents Steg. LBM is just a Google-Meister.

Yes it does. Else why would people spend money on expensive amplifiers. Its just not power you get with expensive amplifiers. The S/N ration, Seperation, Slew Rate, Damping Factor, Current output numbers also increases.

For specs Navin refer to my post no 16 here

I have been 'saddled' with 7' so far.

However, I do not even know 1/20th of what you know about the amps. Way to go !!! Keep the flag of Steg 'flying' high !!!

For people whom Crosstalk matters a lot. And need true Dual Mono Solution. Use 2 X TRU S500. Thats 2 X 325W (4 ohms) / 500W (2ohms) pure dual mono for 84K.

FYI TRU S500 is full bandwith mono amplifier. Unlike majority of mono amplifier with limited bandwidth
