Small review on DLS C6A's
  • They thump great!
  • I had to bring down the sub level from 9 to zero (on the HU) !
  • I was able to bring treble back to zero from -7 @ 10k !
  • I was able to pump up volume way much higher than my old setup
  • They are bigger than your normal components and hence might need spacer/cutting to fit
I now have to get damping and get all wires changed.
Heyy JK, did you get the install done from Parijath-TVM?? Or Galaxy??

Well, I got an install done in my i10 last week from parijath!! Couldn't find any time to upload the install pics and details as my exams are up!! *Studying hard* LOLZ!

Well IMHO, the shop is kinda better than rest of the TVM car accessories shop!! Don't know if it compares to the likes of Emperor, Galaxy etc. as I have only heard and read reviews about them!!

Use the Scosche SLC4.
Sold by Sameer Kapasi and Company.

Hi jkdas, nice upgrades.
I am literally hunting for DLS owners on this forum (could only spot thelord and you up till now). How much did the C6A's set you back by (if you don't mind telling)?

Will do this next week as I also need to post pic of my new sub

I upgraded to Infinity Kappa120.9 ( got from Sankar) . Bloody thing even looks great!

First impression: It compliments my compos. Old sub used to hide few stuff my components produced,in other words, music's better now.

Thanks Sankar

There ! the latest addition. The Infinity is on the 2 ohm mode.

Had to wait for 2hours for a boat ride for Safari and hence could enjoy my new sub. Its awesome. The important part is that I now know how good the components too are. The sub showed me what I had been missing all these days !

Some pix.

Got the beast's ICE reworked ! I think the whole credit goes to Jerrish and his installer kid. The kid has got talent. He surprised me with this professionalism in the work ! Big kudos to him.

Thanks to Jerrish since I just paid 6 dollars

I will upload the pix sometime this week. We used Connection Audison cables for wires ( sub & speakers). Roadkill was used for damping.

Waited 3 year plus for sometime to start a shop at TRV who can do good work.

Did another upgrade! Damn ICE

The previous install was neat and good. All kudos should go to Shajas like I have said before. He also spend hours to tune it with input from iPlay whose car we all use as reference. I had to take all for dinner since all were happy ( and one pissed off) at the install.

The imaging with DLS at front wasnt to all's liking. I was finding it going too wide and not sharp for most tracks. I am still wondering if I didnt give it enough justice by feeding it only 50W. Jerish and others recommended getting Morel Maximo for the front and to move DLS to rear. It was tough fitting the DLS to rear than I though. We also left out the tweeter and so I just have the mid for rear.

So as of now, I have
  • Morel Maximo at the front
  • and DLS C6A (without the tweeters ) at the rear powered from the Pioneer.
  • The Kappa is powered from another Pioneer Mono.
I have better pix of day one install . The following pix are from my BB and hence of bad quality.

Install was done at Jerry's Performance & Auto Accessory shop.

Many thanks to Jerish, iPlay for making me go ahead and do this.

The Morel Maximos

Front door after Morel was fitted.

DLS goes to rear and how the port was sealed with Stinger Roadkill.

The OE speakers that came with the Safari (rear door). I should say that it looked of a good quality than what I had seen in Honda City.
