What is the model number of the subs? And I cant find the 901 amp either.

If the sub is a dual 4-ohm voice coil type, then a GTO monoblock like the 600.1 will drive it very very well. This much bass is usually enough for those that are not abbreviated as L.B.M.

The amp is GTO 601.1 and the sub is a GTO1502D.
What is L.B.M?
I just need a good punch with the subwoofer so if i connect just one 15"sub to the GTo601.1...will i get a good punch??

thanks guys...

Hmm. So your original installer was correct in giving you two of these 15s with the 601.1. To get the most out of a single 1502D, get a good monoblock capable of driving about 500+ Wrms @ 1 ohms (your current amp will not work at 1 ohms.) and you should be fine. Another option would be to use a powerful 2-channel amp that can put out 500+ Wrms @ 4 ohms. This could prove a little difficult to find and perhaps more expensive too.

L.B.M. (short for low_bass_makker) is a generic term on this forum to describe a creature that is dissatisfied with any amount of bass. Often spotted in North India with a silver Swift, and with food laid out on the rear seat.

Maybe this would shed some light. http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/sound-...tml#post656719

Be careful while hooking up the sub. If the coils are in parallel, you will fry the amp.

I don't think it matters. Make sure it is fastened well and does not vibrate.
