Default Kenwood KAC-9104D amp vs Pioneer PRS-D2100T amp

I am looking for an amp to drive my IDQ12D2V2 sub, which is wired to 4 Ohm. The amp should put out at least 500W at this impedance.
I have found 2 fairly attractively priced amps through a bit of googling & am wondering if any forum members would like to post their comments about them.
Kenwood - KAC-9104D
Pioneer USA - PRS Series
Thanks in advance.

Is this a dual 4-ohm sub?

d2v2 is dual 2 ohm sub. I think he has wired it to present 4 ohms.

d2v2 is a dual 2 ohm sub belonging to version 2 of Image Dynamics.

d4v2 is a dual 4 ohm sub belonging to version 2 of Image Dynamics.

Which means they're wired in series.
I would suggest sourcing an amp that is 1-ohm stable and can pump out 500W RMS @ 1 ohm.

Il suggest the KENWOOD mono, just heard it in a friends car powering a idv3,very impressive the amp has potential.

Will you be running it in a ported or sealed box? Why dont you run your sub at 2ohms the amp will give more power

Guys Nura has 2 ohms DVC sub. It means it can be wired to 4 ohms or 1 ohms only if one has to drive from a single amp.

Nura Bhai will be replying to your PM very soon. About the amps you selected the kenwood will sound better as it will playing at half the capcity.

Thanks for your replies.
@manikjeet - I have been quoted 14.5K for the Kenwood 9104D in grey. Is this price ok? It doesn't seem to be available with bill & warranty, although Kenwood-India has it on its website. It will be great if you post your listening experience once you have it installed.
