Default Alpine IDA-X series launched in India

read about it in ACI. pricing starts from 10.5k. a bit of a tall order when you consider that there is no optical drive in it, and there are cheaper HU's, even alpine's own models which can do pretty much the same, except for the display.

Any idea about the actual prices/availablity?

yes, i believe i cam across this piece in lajpat nagar, delhi. It was priced at 10k with b&w. comes with ipod ready, as far as i remember salesman told me you could control from both ipod wheel and the stereo itself. frankly, to me it doesn't seem that big a deal. You could get a pioneer 5050ub and get all the above features for less than 7k + optical drive, ipod control from ipod itself doesn't appeal much to me.

Hi,

Not too sure of -x300 but I think I saw an Alpine -x200 for 13.5K at Trident Hyundai showroom in Indira nagar [B'lore].

So, outside market price should be between .5k ~ 1K cheaper.. -x300 should be cheaper than -x200.

I bought an Alpine iDA-X300 for 10K and my dealer told me that iDA-X200 is about 15k. The output is really good. Moreover I also bought the bluetooth adapter for another 13K. So now I can even connect my blackberry and use the Head Unit for calling, checking my phone book and even voice dialing. I really like the HU and the attachments. To be honest it seemed a little expensive but I just had to buy that.

IMHO alpine products are highly overpriced. More so in India, officially. I wouldn't dabble in these products. It's my opinion. There's much better at that price. Sorry if i hurt any sentiments. I personally like Alpine. But don't like their pricing and strategies. They think they are the Apple of the audio industry.

Alpine has launched new headunits in Digital Media Receivers with video playback. Two models are launched iXA-W404E and iXA-W407EBT, in price range of Rs. 40990 and Rs. 53990 respectively. W404 has 4.3" touch panel screen and W407 has 7" touch screen.
