Not decided yet. Will audition some good compos.

Whatever they will be, they will run active and my setup would be a front only setup now. Fed up of wasting 2 channels just to power rears which i don't listen to.

Why not run the GZ compos active for the time being? What if you like em?

They will be used until they are sold.
About them being run active.
Well not a bad option though.
Will think about doing that.

Well PTC is selling the Morel Hybrid Ovation for 25-30k which cost about 35k in US. Great comps with Xover setting that can be set for better imaging. Comes with tweeter setting of -4,-2,0,+2,+4 as well as slope setting for both tweeter and woofer that can be set individually. i.e. 6db and 12db octave. I suppose its the best price one can get. And the MT-22 tweeter does a great job with minute details played, with great offaxis reponse. And ya you can bi-amp them. But Morels Hybrid's are power hungry they need atleast 150 RMS and to really sing feed them with 180-200RMS each. Their passive XO is designed to handle upto 250RMS each. You can bridge your 4 channel amp to power them in passive and trust me they will sound very clean and detailed. I am using them and surely love them a lot. But i want more. So may be upgrade the MT-22 in near future with Morel Piccolos I have a Dotech Ovation 6" lying with me.

If you plan to go active why not get the Scanspeak 18W/18S woofer with scanspeak illuminator soft dome tweeter. Feed the midbass with 63/80-2000hz at 12db slope and from there on feed the tweeters. Madisound.com is giving some disocunt on it right now. Both can fetch you around 450$ but yes if you have anyone coming from US can get these or if ordered directly might have to pay customs on it.

If not your satisfied with the tweeter on your GZ and want some detailed midbass you could just change the GZ midbass to Scanspeak 18W and either run them either passive or active. They are more detailed with their mids and bass is reponse is tight.

Thanks Man and Congrats.
How much power would you be feeding it.
Design the box properly.
1.08ft^3 if no polyfill is used or else a 1ft^3 enclosure and fill it with 12 ounces of polyfill.

EDIT: I got a mail from Nick saying that this sub's production has been stopped. Maybe due to the SI BM 10" sub they are coming with.

Lucky we.
