I am back home.

Teaser pic will give it all.
I'll post the pics of the comps with the install.

Install done.
Pics may come tonight.
I'm way too tired.
And if they come , complete pics won't come.

Impression.

The ND-6 sound just too brilliant ( without much tuning).
The sub really performs its operation amazingly.
A Detailed review later.

Oh ya, the ND-6 refers to Illusion Carbon ND-6. ( Bi-amped)

Thanks Smokin for the neat and amazing installation and for being there all the time despite being ill. Hatz off to you.

Thanks LBM for the support during the install over the phone.

Thanks everyone who knew about the components for keeping it a secret.

Thanks Frank, Ajay Bhai, Zucchero Paaji for everything they did

Thanks Shashank.A for dropping by during the install and having a good laughter session

Big Congrats! Abhinav. Finally, all the equipment comes alive after a long wait.
Can't wait for the pics. Good Choice on Comps.
Looking for some detailed review on the setup and especially on MAG after it breaks in and since you have had too GZ subs, how does it compare to it?
What are you initial impression on it? Am sure after the Comps and sub breaks in it would sound much more deeper.
Great Transformation from SQL/SPL to complete SQ

Thanks Abhishek.
The tuning hasn't been done that.
I would fiddle with that tomorrow.
Did not get time today.

Also it would be wrong to compare the 2 GZ subs to the Mag.
The 2 GZ SPLs did what they were meant for SPL.

The Mag does what it is meant to. SQ. or as the name says. Sound Integration (Integrity).

The break in should happen by the week. How much time would it take for both the carbons and the SI and the HK1500M to break in?

Finally the suspense is over. I know what ND6 can do as I had it before my upgrade. Welcome to illusion Carbon family. Congrats for the upgrade and best for luck for the tunning session.

congrraaaatulations my brother. very very very happy for you. i am pretty sure you can perceive the difference. a huge one, at that.
just that it wont be having the spl levels of your earlier sub/s.
but in accuracy, detail, speed and the amalgamation with the midbass, I am sure it trumps most subs you would have ever heard.
enjoy the music. let the equipment burn in, and THEN talk here!
the sub and the midbasses (and even the tweeters and YES, even the amps), let them all be used for a while. They will come into their own in a while.
Congrats again, I can feel the amount of excitement that must've run through your veins when you first would have turned on the 7200 after installing all this stuff.
God bless you and for GOD'S sake, hear this one for a while ;-)

The ND-6 are really amazing. Sadly i do not have the heart and willingness to cut the door pads and do mods to accommodate the ND8 which you are running. All said and done. Thanks

Thanks Bro. Pics tomorrow. Audition , post the run-in period. I would not want anyone to listen to it before the run-in is done. This would mean a week or so atleast.

Thanks a tonne Frank. Difference is a huge one. Its a pretty fast sub and goes low. I was shocked to see it being so fast despite getting 360 watts. Wonder what would happen if fed with more power. The excitement was very much especially after 2 days of hard work and time from 11-7 on monday and 9-8.30 today.

Hear this one for a while? This one is hear to stay till i upgrade my car. The ICE ENDS HERE. (For this car atleast)

Yea. Tuning myself as of now.

I thought the amps required break in.

Thanks. Audition soon. Pics tomorrow.

The Mids and the tweeters are getting 85 watts each.

I had checked with Nick, he had mentioned if the Mag played anywhere between 250-400RMS, there is not much of break in required however he said that within 3 hours or so of playing it should open up with that kinda power. So I guess playing time of 10 hours so should be good enough for them.
As for the Carbon's well take into consideration minimum of 15-20 hours. My Morels took a quite a long time to open up even after a month of approx 60 hours or more of playing the midbass wasn't completely opened up. I guess in case of some comps, the more break time the more better.

It is indeed one of the best subs around. Well if powered it with even 600-700RMS it can hit even 130DB, that's a pure SQ bass hitting hard, a blessing in disguise.

they do require a warm up for every listening session. I always turn my home amps on about an hour before I do any serious listening. I dont know about Class D and Class AB amps though. With Class AB the Iq is so low that I dont know if the transistors warm up enough if they are just left on maybe an hour of music before critical listening will help.
