considering performance is your prime criteria, In my opinion you should go for a seperate mono block with sufficient power (as per the sub you have) to get most out of your sub. The mono blocks are designed and made for driving subs. You may buy one monoblock and a seperate 2 channel amp for illusions.

A few months ago, the Kenwood KAC-9104D was available (gray) in Kolkata for 14.5K. This D-class amp supposedly puts out 500W x 1 at 4 Ohm, 900W x 1 at 2 Ohm & 900W x1 at 1 Ohm.

This Kenwood can do 500 x 1 at 4 ohms but cannot do 900 rms at 2 or 1 ohms it would be in tune of 600-700 watts. It is a bit overrated.

Actually navin sir ment to say, under 10k its practically not possible to get a brand new 1Ohms Class -D Monoblock

Why don't you power up the sub with a seperate good 4channel amplifier???

I thought so that it was impossible to find such a amp but whatever...
